4WD Water Tanks — Reliable On-Board Water Storage for Touring

Water is the one thing you can't go without on a remote trip — and the worst time to find out your jerry can split is two days into the desert. Truracks stocks the Ironman 4x4 4WD water tank range so you can carry the right volume of drinking, cooking and washing water no matter where you tour: under the tray, in the wheel arch, mount tanks on a rated platform, or in the cab.

The range covers vertical 40L tanks, low-profile 50L tanks designed to sit on a roof platform without lifting your centre of gravity, tapered 50L tanks shaped to fit ute tubs, wheel-arch shaped 50L tanks that use otherwise dead space behind the tyres, and big 60L rectangle tanks for serious extended touring. For shorter trips, jerry-can style 20L and 40L tanks with integrated taps give you portable water that you can fill at home and take into the campsite.

Every Ironman tank is moulded from food-grade polyethylene — taste-neutral, UV-stable, and rated for years of outdoor use. Tanks come with integrated taps or barbed outlets so you can plumb in a 12V pressure water pump for proper running water at the tap, shower or kitchen. We stock both 4.3L and 12.5L pump options to match the flow rate you actually need. For full off-grid touring builds, ask about the 30L tank with a built-in power a 12V water pump — one-piece, plug-and-play, no separate plumbing.

All tanks ship Australia-wide same-day, or have them professionally installed at our Penrith workshop — we'll mount the tank, plumb the pump, run the wiring off your dual battery system, and pressure-test before you head out.
