Now with 3 distinct valving choices to specifically target a wider range of usage demands.

Introducing the new PROFESSIONAL valving, designed to suit extra heavy loaded vehicles with added accessories or modified high centre of gravity.

PROFESSIONAL contains specially tuned compression and increased rebound damping to maximise body control and stability in the rear of the vehicle.

The primary focus of PROFESSIONAL will be vehicles which are commonly used to carry heavy loads, including Toyota Landcruiser 200, 70 series, Hilux, Ford Ranger, Mazda BT50, Isuzu D-Max, Holden Colorado, Nissan NP300.

Ideally suited to trade professionals who use their vehicles as a workshop on wheels, or seasoned tourers who load their vehicles for extended journeys away, PROFESSIONAL also caters perfectly to the increasing popularity of ute service bodies, enclosed canopies and slide-on campers which all significantly affect driving stability and increase the risk of vehicle rollover.

PROFESSIONAL valving adds to the 2 existing options giving a total of 3 distinct valving choices to specifically target a wider range of usage demands.

The PROFESSIONAL range of shock absorbers will become available throughout 2019 and will be included in future catalogue updates.

Ironman 4X4 produces a range of 4X4 shock absorbers to suit a wide range of vehicles, budgets and uses.

Ironman GVM Upgrades

The usable payload of many 4X4 vehicles today is minimal. Additional basic optional equipment and two or three adult occupants will bring the vehicle close to its legal maximum weight (GVM) in many cases. Add long range fuel tanks, bull bars, winches, side steps, roof racks, recovery gear and a payload of camping equipment or an industrial type custom body and the vehicle will ultimately exceed the Original Equipment allowable Gross Vehicle Mass.

Original Equipment suspension is designed for comfort above all other considerations, thus load carrying and performance can be compromised. Whereas, Ironman 4X4 GVM upgraded suspension systems come with matched components for the ultimate in performance, load carrying and handling.

Ironman 4X4 GVM kits are fully track tested in conjunction with a Certified Automotive Engineering Signatory to achieve maximum stability, braking performance, ADR (Australian Design Rules) conformity and operator comfort, before test data and documentation are forwarded to the DEPARTMENT of INFRASTRUCTURE, TRANSPORT, REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT and LOCAL GOVERNMENT for full analysis.

Ironman Coil Springs

Ironman 4X4 produce a wide range of coil springs to suit a range of load ratings, all designed to maintain optimum ride height.

CNC COLD COILED

All Ironman 4×4 coil springs are CNC Cold coiled to ensure perfect consistency and accuracy. The result of cold coiling means that springs are subjected to less heat during the manufacturing process to help maintain the materials properties and resulting in longer life.

BAR PEELED

Bar peeling is the process of forming the material to an exact size before coiling. This ensures the diameter remains constant and free of flaws along its entire length.

SHOT PEENED

Manipulates material surface tension to reduce stress, greatly enhances spring life.

TRIPLE SCRAGGED

Each coil is fully compressed to a solid state 3 times to minimise coil settling.

PROGRESSIVE AND LINEAR RATE

Used in accordance to original vehicle manufacturers preference, progressive springs increase rate as the spring compresses, linear springs maintain a consistent rate throughout its range.

POWDER COATED

All springs are electro-static powdercoated for a durable finish.

Ironman 4X4 produce a wide range of Leaf Springs to suit a range of load ratings, all designed to maintain optimum ride height.

INTER-LEAF LINERS

Used in some applications to lower friction between leaves reducing noise and improving comfort.

LINED BOLT CLAMPS

All Ironman springs feature bolted guide clamps for greater flex, the addition of anti-friction liners ensures noise free smooth operation.

SHOT PEENED

Shot peening manipulates the spring materials surface tension to reduce stress and will enhance the springs life.

DIAMOND CUT LEAVES

Distributes load at the leaf tip and reduces interleaf friction.

MILITARY WRAP

Where applicable, an additional wrap around the leaf eye protects from failure in case of damage.

Strut Mounts

Direct replacement for the OEM mounts, contains all mounting hardware*, durable natural rubber bushes and insulators. Features heavy duty washers and self locking nuts.

Facilitates the pre-assembly of complete new struts without disassembly of old unit.

Steering Dampers

Spring Bush Kits

Polyurethane bushes provide precise spring locating and enables lubrication to increase suspension flex and comfort. Featuring:

INJECTED MOULDED POLYURETHANE

High density injected moulded polyurethane material ensures precise location and durable bearing surface for your leaf springs, making them very durable in hot temperatures whilst providing a soft comfortable vehicle ride.

GREASABLE

Polyurethane bushes are greasable which aids in longer life and ensures smooth ride and quiet operation.

SPIRAL BORE AND FLANGES

To distribute lubricating grease evenly throughout the bushing surface when combined with greasable shackles and pins.

SPLINES

Allows the bush to conform to irregularities and grip to the eye surface.

Shackles and Pins

Greasable shackles and pins enable the easy re-greasing of polyurethane spring bushes.

All Ironman 4X4 shackles and pins are:

QUAD-OUTLET GREASABLE

Greasable shackles providing an easy method of re-lubricating polyurethane bushes. Quad-Outlet ports distribute grease liberally along the bush surface ensuring you minimize wear of the bush and maximize the serviceable life of them.

SERVICABLE

All Ironman 4X4 shackles and pins feature a serviceable bolt together construction to ensure you can maintain them and ensure they maximize their lifetime.

ANTI-INVERSION SHACKLE

On selected models Ironman 4X4 includes a third pin on our shackles. This pin is positioned to protect the spring in the case of an inversion.

Adjustable Trailing Arms

Trailing arms are some of the most exposed suspension components on a lifted 4X4 and are prone to bending and breaking. Ironman 4X4 has resolved this common problem by producing heavy duty ADR approved, adjustable upper and lower trailing arms to suit GQ/ GU Patrols and 80/105 Series Landcruisers.

Providing radically stronger arms that can also correct driveline and pinion angles, the control arms feature over 5” of adjustment to suit a range of lifts and applications. The arms are on-vehicle adjustable, providing ease of adjustment once on the vehicle to ensure diff alignment is spot on!

Oh and did we mention they were tough? Featuring a solid 32mm centre, 60% increase in the thickness of the eyes surrounding the bushes and deeper penetrating welds to ensure maximum strength and structural integrity.

PRECISE RIDE HEIGHT TUNING

Basic steel collar design fits over Ironman 4X4 struts to adjust spring seat height.

PRE-CONFIGURED THICKNESS

Varied thicknesses allow correct selection according to the amount of lean. Usually provides 2:1 ratio suspension lift on independent suspension vehicles.

Polyurethane Trim Packers

Polyurethane Trim Packers are designed to be able to individually adjusted “side to side” or “front to back” vehicle lean due to uneven load placement.

INJECTION MOULDED POLYURETHANE

High density injection moulded polyurethane material ensures precise location and a durable seat with the spring.

PRE-CONFIGURED THICKNESS

Varied thicknesses allow correct selection according to the amount of lean. Provides 1:1 ratio suspension lift on solid axle vehicles.

Castor Correction Plates

Used to correct caster angle after rising suspension beyond 100mm (4″)

Camber Correction

When raising or lowering a vehicle with McPherson Strut suspension, an increase in negative or positive camber will result, how much depends on the ride height.

Ironman 4×4 Adjustable Camber Bolts are a universal solution to provide up to ± 1.75 degrees camber adjustment in a wide range of strut suspension vehicles, especially soft-roaders.

Set contains one pair of essentric bolts, enough to suit one vehicle and are an essential product when raising or lowering a vehicle equipped with McPherson Strut suspension.

Easy installation with detailed fitting instructions included. Adjustment is gained by rotating the head of the essentric cam bolt till desired result is achieved.

Best results obtained when used in conjunction with suitable wheel alignment equipment.
